Responding to long-standing suggestions and feedback from local residents, the improvement work for the foot over bridge from the Sector 8 holding pond to the Mini Seashore stretch was scheduled to begin on 16 February 2013.
This route is frequently used by walkers, students, senior citizens and visitors heading toward the seashore area. Over time, the bridge and its adjoining pathway required repairs, safety upgrades and structural improvements to make daily movement safer and more comfortable.
The initiative marks an important step toward:
- Strengthening pedestrian safety
- Enhancing the quality of the walkway
- Improving accessibility between Sector 8 and the Mini Seashore
- Supporting a better recreational experience for residents
The commencement of this work reflects a commitment to listening to community feedback and acting upon solutions that directly improve everyday public convenience.
