A special community safety awareness program titled “Mehfooz Navi Mumbai” was organised on 4 November 2012 in association with the Vashi Police Station. The initiative aimed at educating residents about personal safety, neighbourhood security and the importance of community vigilance.
The program featured an audio-visual presentation highlighting practical safety measures, emergency response tips and ways citizens can actively contribute to maintaining a secure environment within their locality. From daily precautionary habits to understanding how modern security systems work, the session offered valuable insights to people across age groups.
Held at the CIDCO Community Center, Sector 3, the event received positive participation from residents, volunteers and local groups, showing strong community interest in building a safer Navi Mumbai.
The initiative was supported by ZICOM Electronic Security Systems Ltd. as part of the “Make Navi Mumbai Safe” campaign, reflecting the joint efforts of civic representatives, police authorities and technology partners in promoting safety awareness.
