The new sewerage pipeline work from B3/11 to B3/20 in Sector 3 commenced on 27 April 2013 with a traditional coconut-breaking (Naral Phodne) Shubharambh ceremony.
This long-pending upgrade aims to replace the old, damaged sewer line with a more efficient and durable system, ensuring smoother wastewater flow and reducing the risk of blockages and overflow during heavy rains.
Residents and local volunteers were present at the ceremony, marking the beginning of an important improvement for hygiene, safety and overall civic convenience in the locality.
