The Sumangal sewerage line improvement work was initiated on 2 December 2012 with an auspicious coconut-breaking Shubharambh ceremony.
This upgrade aims to resolve long-standing drainage issues, strengthen the underground pipeline and ensure smoother wastewater flow for residents in the area. The renewed line will help prevent blockages, overflows and hygiene concerns—especially during monsoon season.
Local residents and volunteers participated in the ceremony, marking the beginning of an important civic improvement that enhances sanitation and overall daily convenience for the neighbourhood.
